A little garden help

21Bloom is made by Corey Bricker and is currently in TestFlight beta for iPhone and iPad.

What’s new in 1.0 (19)

Available September 8, 2026 for iPhone and iPad.

  • The full musical garden plays once after this update. Later launches have a quiet, 1.5-second opening, with “Made by Corey Bricker” and the “For Mom” dedication.
  • Fixes for iCloud saves getting stuck while checking an account, and for Game Center achievements failing to reload after a connection problem.
  • Tending results put your blooms first, with final points in the breakdown.
  • Daily results show the garden’s date and explain whether your game was official, practice, or could not be saved.
  • Support and Privacy Policy links in Settings, clearer switches, and improved VoiceOver labels and result announcements.
  • Flower artwork fits more neatly inside narrow garden beds.

The reliability and results improvements from build 18 are included. Tending protection still costs ten credits; the game’s rules and scoring are unchanged.

Apple’s guide to TestFlight feedback

Saved progress and iCloud

21Bloom saves your records on your device. When iCloud is available, completed progress can sync between devices using the same iCloud and Game Center accounts. Unfinished rounds are not synced or restored after the app closes.

Check Settings inside 21Bloom for the iCloud save status. Game Center leaderboards and achievements use a separate Apple service: seeing them on both devices does not confirm that your in-game records have synced.

If records seem missing, keep the app and its existing data installed and send beta feedback. Include the save-status message and which devices are affected. Avoid deleting the app or repeatedly switching accounts while investigating.

If a previous local save is available after a saving problem, Settings may offer recovery. Read the confirmation carefully: restoring a backup can replace newer local progress.

Sound and the introduction

Sound follows the Sound switch in 21Bloom Settings and your device’s Silent Mode. Sound and haptics are set separately on each device.

The full musical introduction plays the first time you open the app on each device. Updating from build 17 or 18 shows it once more. Later launches show a quiet, brief garden opening. Use Skip intro to go straight to the menu. Reduce Motion in your device’s Accessibility settings changes the introduction to gentle fades.

Daily Garden

Everyone gets the same Daily deck for the UTC day. Your first completed Daily for that day can become your official result; later games of that garden are practice. The result screen explains if an account change or saving problem prevents recording your game. A new garden starts at midnight UTC, which may be the evening or morning where you live.

You can play without Game Center. Leaderboard updates need Game Center and an internet connection, and may take time to appear.
